Shumaker's Animal Control is staffed with licensed cooperators regulated by the state of Maryland Department
of Natural Resources Wildlife Heritage and Nuisance Animal Program. We are trained to assist people in
any and every situation regarding removal and trapping of squirrel, raccoon, fox, groundhog, bat and any other animal. When
we remove an animal it stays outside where it belongs.
At Shumaker’s
Animal Control, our animal removal policy is to humanely trap animals in live traps and then relocate them to an approved
wildlife management area. We then ensure that no other animal can enter the premises by sealing all entry
points securely and permanently with our staff of high caliber exclusion experts.This is very important when involving rodent
control and removal.
After
working for Baltimore County Animal Control for 7 years, I discovered that no government
agencies assist people in the removal of Bats, Snakes, Raccoons ,Squirrels or groundhogs. Nor do they
even perform rodent control.That being the case, there are a lot of conflicts with humans and wildlife cohabiting.
Working
from home, my wife, my son and I started our own business, Shumaker's Animal Control to offer homeowners a permanent solution
to their nuisance wildlife problems, and at the same time allow animals to be removed humanely.
